Optional Competitions 

(All Optionals are required for Royal Titles)

Most Beautiful

Judged on Facial Beauty only during the Beauty Competition. 

Photogenic

Color or black and white, no larger than an 8" X 10".  Photos can be in a clear cover but NO FRAMES.  Only 1 photo may be submitted.  Photos should have the contestants name and age division on the back of the photo and should be turned  in at registration.  Natural Photos Only, No Retouching or Enhancements!        

Sportswear 

Sportswear can be plain or glitzy, off the rack or custom made, depending on your child.  Modeling is standard front T-formation, NO Pro-Am.

One piece swimsuits only, with or without shoes.  Mrs. and Ms. Contestants are permitted to wear a "wrap" from the waist down only.  All suits should be chosen in good taste.

(Birth-4 years only)  Sleepwear can be pajamas, gown, robe and slippers, anything age appropriate.  Small props such as stuffed animals are allowed to be carried on stage.

(5 & Over only)  3  minute time limit!  Tapes or CDs should be cued and ready to play with no other music on it, clearly labeled with the contestants name, age division and music title.   Turn in music at registration. 

Order of Competitions

Beauty, Sportswear, Swimwear, Sleepwear/Talent. Modeling is Standard Front “T” Formation. Pro-Am is not allowed.

**There are no hair and makeup restrictions but please keep the contestants age appropriate.**

Deadline

The deadline for the pageant is April 10, 2009. All entries must be post marked no later than this date and will not be accepted at the door.  All monies must accompany the entry form for all of the categories entered.  Cash, Personal Checks, Sponsor Business Checks and Money Orders will be accepted. There will be a $25.00 Service Charge on all returned checks. NO REFUNDS - NO EXCEPTIONS!!  Contestants will compete in reverse order of entries received, first in will be the last to compete in each age division.

Families

If more than one contestant in the same family enters the pageant and competes in ALL CATEGORIES then additional entrants from the same family who also compete in  ALL CATEGORIES may compete in BEAUTY for  FREE!  This includes Sisters, Mothers, Daughters and Grandmothers.

**Our pageant will be professionally videoed by Crown Productions.  No other video equipment will be allowed. Crown Productions will have DVD order forms available at registration.**

**Broadway Productions will be on hand in the lobby for photographs before, during and after competition.**

Concessions will be available between the morning and afternoon pageants.

"Mini Royal" in Birth-4 yrs.,"Petite Royal" in 5-12 yrs. and "Grand Royal" in 13 & Over.  This is the contestant with the highest total score in ALL events;  Beauty, Most Beautiful, Photogenic, Sportswear, Swimwear, Sleepwear (Birth-4 years) or Talent (5 & Over) The "Royal" winners will each receive $300.00 Cash, a Beautiful Large Round Crown, Custom Designed Banner, Large Trophy, Carolina Piedmont T-shirt and a Gift Bag with prizes. 

***More prizes for all of the Queens will be awarded at the pageant, there are too many to list each one!!***

We DO NOT Double Crown.  Crowning for the Birth-4 year contestants will be before the afternoon pageant gets underway.     

**All Birth-4 Winners will need to return in the evening for group pictures.**

**Any contestant who has previously won one of our Most Beautiful or Royal Titles is eligible to win those titles again as long as they are moving into another age division.  You can not win your Age Division Beauty Title more than once.**

**2009 Mini, Petite and Grand Royal Winners cannot re-compete until 2011.  All other outgoing Queens are allowed to re-compete as long as they are moving into the next age division or are competing for a different title**
